Jewelry repairs
Why have your old jewelry repaired?
We all have broken jewelry lying around at the bottom of a jewelry box. We leave it there for years, thinking that eventually, we'll have it repaired. But why do we have it repaired in the first place? More often than not, we are very attached to our jewelry. It takes us back to a memory, a specific moment. It reminds us of someone. It's an heirloom that we want to keep with us for as long as possible. It's therefore essential to have it repaired so that we can wear these little treasures again and have them accompany us every day.
How much does a repair cost?
It's difficult to estimate the cost of a repair before seeing the piece. Seeing it will help you assess the work required to restore it to its original shine. An estimate is always provided before any repairs begin. This way, you know what to expect and can make an informed decision about how to proceed. You'll also be informed of any repairs that need to be made to your piece.
My jewelry is gold, will it be repaired with gold?
In the case of a resizing, for example, if your ring is made of gold, the metal added to enlarge your ring will also be gold. We add gold of the same fineness and color as the jewelry you bring us. So if your ring is made of 14k yellow gold, a piece of 14k yellow gold will be soldered to the body of the ring for enlarging.
